At Wristbands247.ca, we want to make your ordering experience as smooth as possible. Below are answers to the most common questions about our products, shipping, and custom wristband services.

General Questions

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express, as well as PayPal for secure online payments. 

 

For government institutions and approved accounts with a strong credit history, we also accept purchase orders.

What is your return policy?

  • Stock wristbands: Unused, unopened stock wristbands can be returned within 10 days of delivery for a full product refund. Original shipping cost will not be refunded. The customer is responsible for covering shipping costs to return goods back to us. 
     
  • Custom wristbands: Final sale – custom-printed wristbands cannot be returned or refunded once production begins, as they are made specifically for 
          your order.
     
  • Defective products: If there is an issue with your order, please notify us within 10 days of delivery. We’ll work quickly to provide the best solution, including replacement or refund if appropriate.

Tip: Review your digital proof carefully before approving, as production starts immediately after your approval.

Are all wristbands sequentially numbered?

  • Stock Tyvek® Paper Wristbands are automatically sequentially numbered by the box for added security and event tracking.
     
  • Plastic and Vinyl Wristbands are not numbered by default, but custom numbering is available.
     
  • Adding numbering will extend production time by 2–3 business days.

Are your event wristbands waterproof?

Yes. All of our wristbands — including Tyvek®, Plastic, Vinyl, Cloth, and RFID wristbands — are waterproof and durable.


They are rigorously tested to withstand swimming, water rides, and extended wear for multi-day events like festivals or camps.

 

Please see our wristband guide for additional details however these are the recommended usage duration per product type:

Tyvek Adhesive Wristbands: 1-2 days

Tyvek RFID Wristbands: 1-2 days
 

Plastic Snap Wristbands: 3-7 days

Plastic RFID Wristbands: 3-7 days

 

Vinyl Snap Wristbands: 7-14 days

 

Cloth Wristbands & Cloth w/ RFID: 14+ days

Can your wristbands be recycled?

Absolutely.

  • Tyvek® adhesive wristbands and our new Plastic snap wristbands are recyclable.
  • Please check with your local recycling facility to confirm proper disposal methods.

Is your website safe for online payments?

Yes. Wristbands247.ca uses SSL encryption and is PCI Security Standards certified, meaning your payment details are secure and never stored on our servers.
 

You’ll see a padlock icon in your browser bar confirming that your connection is encrypted and secure.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

Yes.

  • Most wristbands are sold in packs of 100.
  • Certain product lines, like Plastic and Vinyl Wristbands, are packaged in lots of 500.
  • Custom orders may require larger minimum quantities depending on design and materials.

Tip: Our online store clearly lists pack sizes for specific wristband types before checkout.

Shipping Questions

When will my order ship?

  • Stock wristbands: 2-3 business days
  • Custom wristbands: 7–10 business days after final artwork approval

Tracking details will be emailed as soon as your order ships.

How long does delivery take?

Standard ground shipping within Canada takes 2–6 business days, depending on your location.


Remote areas like Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut do not qualify for free shipping.

**Shipping and delivery times are estimates provided by the courier. We are not liable for delays resulting from courier operations, weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

Do you offer next-day or Saturday delivery?

Yes, we offer UPS and FedEx Next Day Delivery to most major cities across Canada.


Saturday delivery is available in certain regions — contact us to check if your postal code is eligible.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes - we offer free shipping ground shipping across Canada, however specific order minimums are required.

  • Tyvek, Plastic & Vinyl - minimum of 5 boxes of 500 bands (2,500 pcs) required
  • Cloth - minimum of 500 bands required
  • Lanyards - minimum of 500 pcs required

**Extended / Remote delivery surcharges -  Our free shipping offer does not cover these surcharges which are imposed by the courier for "select and remote" destinations, all surcharges must be paid by the customer. A customer representative will contact you should your delivery location reside in a remote delivery zone.

How do I access my shipping tracking number?

Tracking numbers are issued automatically by the courier or the courier’s broker and are sent to the email address provided on your order and/or invoice. If you don’t see the tracking email in your inbox, please be sure to check your spam or trash folders, as it may have been filtered there.

 

If you are unable to find it, please email us your order number and we will be happy to assist you.

Custom Wristband Orders

How long does it take to make my custom wristbands?

Production times begin after you approve your artwork proof:

  • Tyvek® Adhesive Paper Wristbands: 3-10 business days depending on quantity order and job complexity
  • Plastic & Vinyl Wristbands: 7-10 business days depending on quantity order and job complexity

These times do not include shipping transit time.

Does 1-color printing take less time than full-color?

Not usually.


Both single-color and full-color orders have similar production times unless your order has:

  • Special design requirements
  • Multiple setups
  • Very large quantities

If any of these apply, production may take slightly longer.

Do you offer rush services for custom orders?

Yes! We offer multiple rush production options to meet tight deadlines:

  • Same-Day Production (when approved early in the day)
  • 2–3 Business Days
  • 4–6 Business Days
  • 7–10 Business Days (standard)

Important: Rush orders must be confirmed by email or phone and may require additional fees.
